A growing team, a local office and a continued commitment to providing high-quality home care across Plymouth and the South Hams.
At Anchorpoint Home Care, we’ve always believed that providing great care starts with having the right people in place. As our business continues to grow, so does our commitment to building a strong, reliable and professional team that can support our clients, their families and our carers.
Over recent months, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to strengthen the foundations of Anchorpoint Home Care. One of our most important developments has been establishing our new office team and creating a central hub for the business at Faraday Mill Business Park in Plymouth.
For us, this represents much more than simply having an office. It’s another important step in building a home care company that our local community can rely on for years to come.
A Local Home Care Provider Needs a Local Presence
As an independent home care provider serving Plymouth and the South Hams, being local is something we’re incredibly proud of.
We believe that a local care company should have a genuine presence in the community it serves. Somewhere families can contact, somewhere our carers can turn for support, and somewhere the people responsible for delivering care are accessible and accountable.
Our office at Faraday Mill Business Park, Plymouth, provides exactly that.
It’s a place where care packages are coordinated, new enquiries are welcomed, staff are supported and the many moving parts of a busy domiciliary care service come together.
Most importantly, it allows us to remain closely connected to the people who matter most: our clients, their families and our dedicated care team.
Investing in Our People
One of the things we’re particularly proud of is the development of our office team.
As Anchorpoint has grown, we’ve recognised the importance of creating a strong support structure behind our carers. We’ve worked hard to identify talent within the business, promote from within and provide opportunities for our team members to develop their careers.
Our Registered Manager, Sian Kunene, leads the service, bringing more than 23 years of nursing experience, including 10 years as a Senior Sister at University Hospitals Plymouth.
Working alongside Sian, our office team helps coordinate the day-to-day running of Anchorpoint, ensuring our carers have the guidance, communication and support they need to deliver excellent care.
For a growing home care business, these roles are vital. Behind every successful care visit is a great deal of planning, communication and teamwork, much of which happens quietly behind the scenes.
We’re proud of the team we’re building and the professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm they bring to Anchorpoint every day.
Building Something for the Long Term
Growth is exciting, but we’re conscious that growing a care business comes with responsibility.
For us, success isn’t simply about supporting more clients. It’s about making sure that, as we grow, we continue to deliver the personal, reliable and compassionate care that Anchorpoint was founded upon.
That means investing in our people, strengthening our systems and ensuring we have the right leadership and support structures in place.
Establishing our office team is a significant part of that journey.
We’re laying the foundations for the next chapter of Anchorpoint Home Care, building a business that is sustainable, well-organised and, above all, focused on the people who depend on us.
And while the business continues to develop, one thing will never change: our commitment to remaining a local, approachable and independently owned home care provider.
