Sian Kunene
Director of Care / Owner
For over two decades Sian has been a cornerstone of the local healthcare system, dedicating 23 years to nursing with several of those leading a large team of nurses and carers at Derriford Hospital. Sian firmly believes that home-based care is essential for overall well-being. That is her motivation behind Anchorpoint Home Care. Her vision is clear: to provide leadership, coordination, and assurance that enables individuals to continue living comfortably in their own homes. With her extensive experience and skills, she ensures that the values of service users and their families are at the heart of the care provided.
Antony Pugh
Director of Operations / Owner
Having retired from the Royal Navy after a distinguished 23-year career, Antony brings a wealth of experience in humanitarian aid. His service record demonstrates a commitment to helping others, especially those who are vulnerable. His Naval career highlights include restoring utilities on hurricane-affected islands in the West Indies, evacuating locals from the volcanic island of Montserrat, helping to build schools in Africa, and training locals in disaster relief communications. Antony has now turned his energy towards his local community and the co-founding of Anchorpoint Home Care. With a Master’s in Leadership, Coaching, and Mentoring, and as a Lead Auditor in Information Management, Antony is a great partner for Sian in leading a home care company. These qualifications, combined with his extensive experience, make him exceptionally well-suited to guide and support the team at Anchorpoint Home Care.
